There are regulations in place that require many products to meet NSF/ANSI standards. Many people see this as synonymous with having your product tested with NSF. In actuality, there are many certification bodies that are accredited to provide NSF certifications. Of these certification bodies, Truesdail offers some very distinct advantages. Truesdail policy is to accept listing transfers from other certification bodies without duplicate testing. The transition generally requires submitting test reports as well as an initial compliance inspection. Most of the prominent certification bodies also accept Truesdail test reports as well should you chose to test with Truesdail and certify with another certification body. Just submit an application and your most recent test report from an accredited certification body for Truesdail to review.
The two main certifications Truesdail Laboratories provide are NSF 61 and NSF 372. Our standard lead time from application to market assuming new product submission is 4 weeks for NSF 372, and 8 weeks for NSF 61. Some types of NSF 61 projects are even faster. Testing can be expedited if needed for an additional cost. Mechanical testing standards turnaround times will vary, Mr. Javier Robles can provide you with more details on standard specific turn-around-time.
Truesdail has been accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to provide test reports as well as certify and list product. Truesdail has obtained Standards Council of Canada (SCC) Accreditation that extends our certifications to the entire North American Continent. Using the Truesdail Mark signifies to the industry that your product adheres to any applicable standard.
