Third Party Certification
For over 65 years, Truesdail Laboratories has been providing "third party" independent testing of products, materials, and environmental samples. We have approvals from several organizations including the AIHA, EPA, FDA, the California Department of Public Health, the California Air Resources Board and more.
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has developed a program (ANSI Z34.1-199x et. al.) to accredit a third-party product certification program. This program allows organizations to certify products as meeting defined ANSI (and other) specifications. To be accredited, certifying organizations must undergo a formal evaluation process and thorough on-site audit, and must comply with the requirements of IEC/ISO Guide 65 for Certifying Organizations.
On January 3, 1997, the ANSI "Standards Action" published notice of the approval of Truesdail Laboratories' certification program. The ANSI program requires an inspection be made of the entire production and quality control program, and an on-going testing program be established before a formal certification is issued.

Certification Marks
ANSI requires that organizations accredited to do certification have an official certification mark. That is registered with the US Patent office.
