Steps to Truesdail Certification

Step 1: Document Submission

Submit all applicable product drawings, material information, and any other relevant product information on Truesdail’s Product Manufacturer Information Sheet

Based on this information Truesdail will provide a detailed quote for our services. Please be assured that all information provided to Truesdail is strictly controlled and confidential. Information can be submitted via email transmission to our Account Manager Mr. Javier Robles, or by secure electronic document delivery.

Step 2: Quote Approval

Utilizing the information provided our Product Certification experts will formulate a price quotation for your project. Once the quote is approved, two additional documents are required:

  • Truesdail’s Application for Certification
  • Truesdail Client Service Agreement.

Step 3: Project Submission

When all the proper documentation is received one of Truesdail’s Product Certification Engineers will be assigned to manage your product from beginning to end. Your assigned Engineer will contact you to set up an initial manufacturer inspection, if applicable. At that time, initial samples for testing will be collected, unless otherwise specified.

Step 4: Certification

Once the inspection is completed and the samples are in the Laboratory, the clock for standard turnaround time begins. Standard project turnaround time is eight weeks for NSF/ANSI 61 and most mechanical testing, and four weeks for NSF/ANSI 372. During this time samples will go through processing, material review, sample preparation, analysis, normalization of results, and, if applicable, a toxicology review before certificates are issued.
