Do you have concerns about California's new proposed Hexavalent Chromium Public Health Guidelines (PHG)?
Truesdail can help alleviate your concerns.
The State of California has recently proposed a Public Health Guideline of 0.02 ppb for hexavalent chromium in drinking water.
You can find EPA's recommendation for monitoring hexavalent chromium in drinking water here: EPA Recommendation
Our current MDL for hexavalent chromium is 0.007 ppb. The chromatogram below shows the results of our analysis of a clean water sample spiked at the Public Health Guideline of 0.02 ppb. We are extremely confident of our ability to provide consistent, correct, on-time delivery of very low level hexavalent chromium results that can demonstrate your compliance with these guidelines.
Analyzing hexavalent chromium levels in ground water and drinking water at such low levels requires careful attention to every step in the analytical process from sample collection, through preparation and analysis. Truesdail Laboratories has unmatched experience in low level hexavalent chromium analysis. Since 2002 we have analyzed over 23,000 samples for low level hexavalent chromium. Most of those samples have been tested as part of an intensely closely scrutinized cleanup process requiring quality control at level 4, with complete raw data delivery.
We are aware of other laboratories claiming they can meet these levels. What we often find, on closer inspection is that they are offering analysis of total chromium, not hexavalent chromium. Make sure you know what you're getting.
