Truesdail has provided stationary source and air emissions testing for over 50 years. We are proud to have performed the first air analysis survey of the Los Angeles Basin in 1947, and we are leaders in hydrocarbon analysis. We are certified by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD), and our reports are readily accepted by the USEPA.
Capabilities
Stack gasses and particulate analysis
Areas of Expertise
- Coatings analysis by USEPA Method 24
- Stacks - boilers, dryers, foundries, furnaces, kilns, turbines
- Engine exhausts - turbines and internal combustion
- Incinerators - pathological, combustible waste disposal
- Afterburners - catalytic, thermal and auxiliary fuel
- Process effluents - cat cracking units, spray booths, printing presses
- Bakery emissions
- Air Toxics
Due to the depth of our analytical capabilities, we are often asked to provide more complete analysis of emissions than required by "standard methods." Such testing has included:
- Determination of CCR toxic metals such as chromium VI, total chromium and total lead.
- Determination of acid gases such as HCL, HF, H2SO4 and HNO3.
- Speciation of sulfur gases such as H2S, COS, CS2, mercaptans, etc.
- Determination of specific organic emissions such as vinyl chloride, styrene, and a host of "industry dependent" materials.
- Determination of volatile EPA priority pollutants, dioxins, and polynuclear aromatics.
