Roger W. Truesdail started Truesdail Laboratories, Inc. in 1931. At the time he was a professor of chemistry at the Pomona College in Claremont. Initially his laboratory analyzed only yeast products, however within a few months Dr. Truesdail foresaw a need for an independent laboratory capable of performing a wide spectrum of tests. Consequently, he added other laboratories and moved them to downtown Los Angeles where Truesdail remained for 52 years. |

Dr. Philip Charley who was a chemist, as well as Dr. Truesdail's son-in-law, became president in 1972. In 1983 he moved the Laboratories to Tustin, in Central Orange County. In 1996 the responsibility of President moved once again to a son-in-law, Dr. John C. Hill. John has a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, a PhD in molecular biology, and an interest in computer programming. His interest in computer programming has helped Truesdail remain adaptable in the area of data reporting, a usually unnoticed segment required for independent testing. Our expertise, our reputation for reliability, our location, and our professional sample collecting team give us an edge in providing testing services. Truesdail has operated since 1931, evidence that we are well-grounded and substantive. Truesdail Laboratories, Inc. is still a family owned and operated business. |
