History
Roger W. Truesdail started Truesdail Laboratories, Inc. in 1931. At the time he was a professor of chemistry at the Pomona College in Claremont. Initially his laboratory analyzed only yeast products, however within a few months Dr. Truesdail foresaw a need for an independent laboratory capable of performing a wide spectrum of tests. Consequently, he added other laboratories and moved them to downtown Los Angeles where they remained for 52 years.

Dr. Philip Charley who was a chemist as well as Dr. Truesdail's son-in-law, became president in 1972. In 1983 he moved the Laboratories to Tustin, in Central Orange County. Truesdail Laboratories, Inc. is still a family owned and operated business. In 1996 the responsibility of President moved once again to a son-in-law, Dr. John C. Hill. John has a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, and a PhD in molecular biology as well as an interest in computer programming. It is his interest in computer programming which has helped Truesdail remain adaptive in the area of data reporting, a usually unnoticed aspect required for independent testing.

Our expertise, our reputation for reliability, our location, and our professional sample collecting team give us an edge in providing testing services. Truesdail has operated since 1931, evidence that we are well-grounded and sustentative.
